We seek to provide a safe, pleasing, enriching, and nurturing environment based on Maria Montessori’s principles and philosophy. We strive to offer an environment with materials where all children can spontaneously investigate, explore, and discover. Our approach is to allow each child to learn at his or her own best pace and honor the child’s needs to the fullest extent.
We are an affiliate member of the American Montessori Society.
We are licensed by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
What we offer:
At Pathway we are proud to offer a carefully designed, age-appropriate program that provides both freedom and opportunity for the child to explore and discover as he works with a variety of Montessori materials in an environment that is spacious, colorful, and engaging.
Our classrooms are designed to satisfy the needs of the child's sensitive period for order, independence, concentration, coordination, movement, and exploration.
"The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences.”
